  • Both Milo and Willow are prone to chewing or eating things they shouldn’t and currently scratch carpets. With the right home and awareness, this is manageable, but it does require a bit of extra thought, consideration and patience. Milo will chew plants (including unsafe ones), so any home must be plant-free or keep pet-safe plants - preferably out of reach. He also likes to drink out of drinking glasses and the toilet, so human drinks would need to be monitored/lidded and toilets need to be kept closed. Willow is drawn to plastic (bags, wrappers, packaging, etc.), so the home must be kept tidy and clear of loose items such as these. They will scratch and damage carpet, particularly if shut in (or out of) a room. They have never damaged curtains or furniture. For this reason, a carpet-free home is best, or those with time and patience to train out this behaviour. They seem to prefer to scratch regular tufted 'twist' carpet over looped or berber. We have wondered if this behaviour would improve if they were outdoor cats with more stimulation and less time indoors, but we are unfortunately near a busy road that has had many neighbouring cat fatalities.

Description

Exceptionally gentle and loving siblings who have never bared teeth or claws, and love nothing more than affection and time with their people. Milo is a gentle, quiet soul with perfect manners. He is incredibly affectionate and will softly tap you with his paw when he’d like some fuss. His favourite place in the world is curled up on your lap or chest, especially at bedtime. He is calm, sweet-natured, and endlessly loving. Willow is full of personality and charm. She is extroverted, wonderfully chatty and will happily “talk” to you throughout the day. While she isn’t a lap cat and doesn't like being picked up, she absolutely adores attention and affection on her terms; her favourite place for fuss in on the stairs where she can rub her face on the banister posts at the same time. She is also very food-motivated and will never say no to a treat! The siblings love company and will happily sleep in a cocoon bed on your desk during the work day. When they’re not in their beds they will either cuddling, looking at birds and sunning themselves on a windowsill, or following you like a shadow. Independent is not in these cats’ vocabulary.
