  • Benji is an energetic boy who loves to play fetch with a ball and burn his energy off, he will then sleep for most of the day and comfortably be left alone for 4-5 hours. Unfortunately, since having a second baby I don’t feel in control to walk him off a lead with a ball with 2 small children in tow meaning he’s not getting the exercise he needs & is struggling with being left. Additionally the new demands of life with 2 small children and the prospect of trying to manage childcare when I return to work as well as ensuring the dog has been walked and not left too long isn’t seeming feasible. Benji would benefit from a home with a family who can offer daily walks and who have a predictable routine. He is good with children. We have a cat but I can’t be sure he would be ok with a cat he doesn’t know.

Benji is an energetic boy who loves to play fetch with a ball and burn his energy off, he will then sleep for most of the day and comfortably be left alone for 4-5 hours. Unfortunately, since having a second baby I don’t feel in control to walk him off a lead with a ball with 2 small children in tow meaning he’s not getting the exercise he needs & is struggling with being left. He enjoys walks playing fetch with a ball or long walks. He likes to swim/ cool off in water. His recall is good and if he does follow something of interest he will always find his way back to you. He is so gentle with our toddler. He loves attention and cuddling/strokes.
