  • Sanchez is in foster with us. We have been trying to find him a forever home for nearly a year. Its coming up to his 8th birthday and we'd really love for him to be with his forever people by then!

Description

Sanchez is fully toilet trained, is not destructive, sleeps through the night (crate trained), is fine being left in the day, not reactive on walks, greets dogs nicely out and about. He has learnt a few commands like sit and paw. He loves treats! He loves a fuss! Gets excited about adventures, and travels well in a car. Sanchez loves going on walks, long or short. He loves a good adventure and the occasional run at the enclosed dog field. He doesnt need lots of exercise to keep him happy, but he would also make a great hiking buddy. He lives with children currently and at first he was very scared of them, but now enjoys their fusses (he is still wary of our teenager). We think a child free home may be best due to Sanchez's initial nerves. We don't have other dogs, but he did live with lots of dogs at the rescue, he doesn't like dominanting/overbearing dogs. The rescue have also said he is fine with cats, but we haven't tested this ourselves. Sanchez is very scared of new people and will take time and patience to build trust, but once you break down his walls he is truly the most loyal companion you could ever wish for. Sanchez can also be fostered with view to adopt. Fostering is free! You just have to cover day to day costs like food. Sanchez has spent most of his life in rescue, its time he went home! If you're willing to work on building his trust, you will be rewarded with the most adoring, a bit clumsy, and very loving best friend. Home check applies. All resident dogs must be neutered.
