Description

Jodi has been with us since 8 weeks. She has never had a bad experience with another dog or children. She is friendly and will play or initiate a chase but as she has aged this is less than it was. She will say hello to most dogs on a walk or ignore and keep walking My youngest was 8 when Jodi arrived and she has experience of toddlers. She will approach anyone with a ball. She is always keent o get a ball less so to drop or give it back to be rethrown. She has no seperation anxiety and will often reposition herself in the house or garden as she choses. She does start the night at the bottom of my bed when I go to bed but very quickly moves back to ber bed on the landing. She is used to free reign in thenhouse buty will shake her collar or whine quietly if she wants to be let out. She will sit on a lap and depending on the person will stay for a while. She will bark in the house if she hears the neighbors dog or cat and if she hears a stranger coming to the house - but ill soon stop. She is trained to 'here', will recall on a walk unless running after a cat and will sit to wait for a treat. She has never done a long trip in the car - maximum 40 mins She is regularly groomed She will swim a little if following a ball or twig. She will hold a ball in her mouth and growl if you try to take it away but has never bitten or overly guraded adn I am able to pull the ball out or distract with another ball if available. She does get jealous if I fuss my friends dog and I do end up sitting with one either side of me on the settee but this has only happened with this dog. She likes playing tug of war

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
