Description

Melody is full of energy and loves to play! She enjoys playing with other dogs, she loves fetch with a ball or frisbee or anything really ☺️. She loves water especially a muddy pond but NOT the water hose. She also has a gentle side and loves cuddling on the couch for movie nights. Melody is friendly, loyal, intelligent and playful. She gets along well with kids and other dogs, and would make a wonderful addition to any family. She has always lived with an older dog who is 14 and 4 children. I’m not sure how she would get along with cat in the home. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Melody is NOT spayed (was waiting for her to turn 2 on the 16th of November 2025) fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
